AT THE INQUISITE' 12:
GENERAL RULES

• Each team must have 2 members.
• Team composition cannot be changed once the registration has been done.
• Judges decision will be final

PRELIMINARY ROUND

• An online objective test will be conducted among participants.
• 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer.
• General and Technical IT questions will be asked.
• The time limit will be half an hour.

STAGE QUIZ ROUND

• Each team will be asked questions based on Discoveries and Inventions in Information Technology.
• Correct answer carries 10 points and time limit to answer the question will be 30 seconds.
• This is a non transferable round.
• No negative marking.

ROUND 2- TAG LINES/LOGOS/IT PERSONALITY

• This is a transferable round.
• A TAG LINE/LOGO will be shown on the screen.
• Direct answer carries 10 points and a pass answer carries 5 points.
• There will be negative marking. Every wrong answer will deduct 5 points.
• Time limit is 30 seconds. No additional time will be given for the pass question.
• Participants will be required to identify the PRODUCT/ COMPANY/PERSON names.
• Questions can be passed to the audience

ROUND 3-CHOOSE YOUR FIELD

• There will be questions on 8 different IT fields.
• Each team will choose a field and question will be asked related to that field.
• Different areas to be selected are Operating System, DBMS, Networking, Linux, Data Structures, Java, Software Engineering and Digital Electronics.
• It is a non transferable round.
• Time limit will be 30 seconds
• Correct answer carries 10 points and incorrect answer will deduct 5 points.

ROUND 4-RAPID FIRE ROUND

• Every team will be asked a maximum of 10 questions in 100 seconds.
• Each correct answer carries 10 points.
• In case the participants don't know the answer they can pass it and come back to later, if time permits.
• There will be no negative marking.
