Important Notes About Selection of Papers in Specific Categories:

1.    Selected Papers, in order of the ranked recommendation of the Programme Committee, from Category – II may get promoted to Category – I provided all the authors of such papers have sent the registration in advance by 10th January, 2009 to replace the papers of the authors who do not register in advance but was selected for Category – I. And such replaced papers of Category – I may then get included in Category – II or Category – III, as decided by the Programme Committee based on the Registration Status of such authors.

2.    We are sure, you will appreciate the idea behind introducing this critical clause; which is to encourage sincere and upcoming authors and discourage the authors who get the paper published in Hard Copies but do not attend the Conference personally, thereby killing the opportunity of publication to some sincere author. In fact, we do not want that the full papers of such authors should get published who are not going to attend and present the paper personally.

Other Important Rules and Suggestions:

1.    If the papers have been written jointly with Faculty, Research Scholars and M. Tech. students, the registration has to be done under Teachers / Research Scholars Category only.

2.    Please note that Students (alone) are not allowed to submit / present paper without their faculty, in any case. Authors for INDIACom – 2009 can not get registered under Student Category. They have to be either in Teachers / Research Scholars or Industry Category. However, students can register to attend the Conference; INDIACom – 2009, as Delegate under Students Category.

3.    Papers written by students are welcomed in 2nd National Students’ Convention (NSC-2009), which will be held on 28th February, 2009.

4.    Individual Students are encouraged to submit their papers for Contest in the National Students’ Convention (NSC – 2009) to be held on 28th February, 2009.

5.    If the paper has been written jointly with Teachers and Working Professionals from Industry, Research Laboratories, Other Government Organizations, etc., the paper will be considered under Industry Category in which registration of Industry Delegate, as a First Author, under Industry Category is a must.

6.    Authors from teaching profession, working under Colleges / Institutions covered by AICTE, UGC, Higher Education Departments, Technical Education Departments, Secondary Education, NCTE, Medical Council, Dental Council, etc. will only be eligible to be considered under Teachers / Research Scholar Category (as the same is highly subsidized to encourage teachers for such research work). Authors working in Industry, even working with the Research Laboratories, will be eligible under INDUSTRY Category only and will not be considered under Academic Category, in any case.

7.    Delegates / Authors may please note that further bulk discount of 10% for 03 or more members / authors from one organization will not be applicable, if they are registering themselves under IETE or CSI membership Category, as the same has already been discounted. Please also note that if there are three or more authors from different organization, for any paper, bulk discount will not be applicable.

8.    Delegates / Authors registering under CSI / IETE membership category and availing the discount must attach the Copy of the Identity Card or the copy of the fees receipt paid for the current year, as a proof of their membership.

10.  Multiple papers may be submitted by one author or group of authors. However, if more than one paper of one author or group of authors are selected in Category – I for INDIACom – 2009, then first all the individual authors out of such group have to register (only once) and for every extra copy of the paper publication in Category – I (Full length), Rs. 700/- extra will be charged in lieu of printing cost.
