The Institute has a well-established Training and Placement Cell, which facilitates the students in their career development. It provides the necessary guidelines to the students to decide the career paths by counseling, guiding, motivating and mentoring them. The Placement Cell is headed by the full time Training and Placement Officer having rich corporate experience and supported by a team of other faculty and student members as Training and Placement Committee. Keeping its objective of "defining the career of every student", the Placement Cell is actively involved in the activities like; Training students on Recent Technical Trends and Corporate Soft Skills, Building relationships with corporates, Industrial Visits, Guest lectures, Alumni interaction, Feedback Collection, organizing customized and tailor-made programmes for Corporates, etc. Normally, the placement programme commences during August-September every year. Organizations are requested to schedule their recruitment efforts during this time with the full support of Placement Cell of the Institute. If, for some reasons, an organization is unable to schedule their recruitment and selection activities during these placement weeks of the Institute, alternate slots are made available to the organizations as per mutual convenience. Placement Cell renders all possible services to the organizations for the smooth conduct of selection and recruitment activities; pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions and interviews. Attached with the brochure are separate form for organizations to communicate their interest in participating in Institute's placement programme and their requirements. Organizations can also communicate their requirements to the Placement Cell telephonically or by email. The demand for BVICAM graduates has always been very high and almost all the students get job through Campus Interviews much before they take up their final examination. Organizations like; TCS, Flextronics, HCL Technologies, Satyam Infoway, Quark, DCM, MBT, IFS, g-Cube, Nagarro, Parsec Technologies, Induslogic, Interra, Newgen, Libsys, etc., to name a few, have been visiting the Institute for in-campus interviews. |
